Genie+ will be changing. If you already have it on your 2022 reservation, you will be grandfathered in. Beginning June 8, 2022 Genie + service will only be available to purchase one day at a time within the app for $15 plus tax per person. This single-day option may only be purchased on the actual day you plan to use it (as early as 12:00 AM).
How to Use Disney Genie+
Beginning at 7:00 AM Eastern, Guests who have purchased Disney Genie+ will be able to select a window of time to visit a specific attraction using the Lightning Lane entrance. After experiencing that attraction via the Lightning Lane entrance, they may request a window of time for another attraction. Guests cannot use the Lightning Lane entrance more than once for a specific attraction, but there is no limit to the number of attractions that may be requested each day. The system will automatically assign the next available Lightning Lane arrival window for the attraction you choose, so be sure to check for any conflicts with dining or other activity times before confirming the selection.

| Individual Attraction Lightning Lane Selections are á la carte options that can stand alone or be used in conjunction with Disney Genie+. Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel have a booking advantage over day guests. If you have a resort stay linked to your My Disney Experience account, you may reserve your Lightning Lane return times for up to two attractions as early as 7:00 AM. Guests who are not staying on-site can purchase Lightning Lane and request attraction times at park opening. Unlike Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections, you can select a specific window of time rather than having the system assign the time to you. Pricing is dynamic and may change on a daily basis. |
